SeaVeyors ROV is piloted by Darren Horler, president of SeaVeyors.
Darren's ROV experience in piloting our Seabotics ROV model LBV300S2 and his scuba diving proficiency provides our customers with an underwater visual skill set that enhances ROV results.
SeaVeyors ROV is a very portable and capable solution in meeting the needs of our clients. It can operate in depths up to 300 metres (1,000ft) with 350 metres (1,148ft) of small diameter fiber optic umbilical. It is controlled by the operator, using the integrated consol (controller, power supply and monitor) through the umbilical.
Our Seabotics LBV300S2 is fitted with a high resolution colour camera and a low light B/W camera. Fiber optics provides a crystal clear picture over the longer umbilical length. Each camera offers 270º field of view, has manual focus controls and a wide angle lens. Tracking the colour camera is a high intensity LED lighting array with variable intensity. For use in conditions requiring maximum light our ROV is also fitted with external lighting.
Our Environmental Services section is headed up by Lead Biologist Daniel J. Gillis, M.Sc., B.Sc. Mr Gillis has a wide range of experience across multiple government entities and levels, including First Nations governments. He has worked with private corporations and assisted on marine resource development initiatives.
Our survey methods vary and are dependent on the site, the water conditions and your requirements.
